Magliulo’s duties include overseeing the continued relationship/ agreements/operations between Gaughan Gaming/LVDC and the member companies of the Nevada Pari-Mutuel Association and LVDC’s Native American clients including Foxwoods Resort Casino (CT), Cities of Gold and Route 66 (NM). 

He works in conjunction with the entire Gaughan Gaming/LVDC team to formulate and execute growth strategies beneficial to the company’s portfolio. He also coordinates the company’s operations and technical departments while overseeing the company’s agreements with domestic & international racetracks. Magliulo also serves as Chairman of LVDC’s Compliance Committee. 

Magliulo brings 45 years of industry experience to the company, including race & sports operations, table games and marketing. Prior to LVDC Magliulo served as Director of Race & Sports Operations for Wynn Las Vegas. While at Wynn he was responsible for the design, opening, marketing and operation of the resort’s race & sports book. From 1986 to 2000 Magliulo worked his way from supervisor to Vice President of Race & Sports Operations at Caesars Palace. While at Caesars, Vinny met Richie Baccellieri and the two began a strong bond. Along with their team, they created one of the most exciting and versatile sports betting operations in the industry.

As a respected linemaker/bookmaker in the gaming industry, he appeared as a representative for the legendary resort on local, national and international television and radio programs including: the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather, The Late Show with David Letterman, ESPN, Fox Sports, Telemundo, as a regular contributor on KCBS Sports Central with Jim Hill in Los Angeles. In the early 1990’s Magliulo & his team elevated proposition wagers to a new level dubbing them “the games within the game”, creating more than 80 ‘props’ for Super Bowl XXVIII which was a record at the time. 

He was part of an industry team that authored legislation to bring pari-mutuel wagering to the state of Nevada. In 2011 he joined several colleagues at the South Point Hotel Casino as on-air talent for The Linemakers, which aired on the Velocity channel. Along with Brian Musburger and colleagues Jimmy Vaccaro & Chris Andrews, he helped create and is featured on VSiN, the Vegas Stats & Information Network, which is the only broadcast platform dedicated to the legal sports betting industry. It airs 24/7 on VSiN.com, iHeartRadio & YouTube TV. 

Additionally, Magliulo has made presentations to security divisions of the NFL, NHL, NBA, Major League Baseball & the NCAA. In 1992 he instructed the accredited course on Race & Sports Book Management at UNLV and continues to be a guest lecturer for students at UNLV and Kansas State University. He’s had articles published in various publications including the New York Post. He was inducted into the Sports Betting Community (SBC) Hall Of Fame in July 2022.
